At our speech therapy practice, we value privacy and transparency. Personal data is handled with great care, and we comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

Privacy
During the treatment process, we collect data necessary to provide quality care. Your personal information is processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). This means, among other things, that:

• Your data will only be shared with third parties (such as a GP, teacher, or other healthcare provider) if you have given explicit consent.

• You will always be informed in advance if consultation with third parties takes place.

• Your data is securely stored and not retained longer than legally required.

WGBO – Treatment Agreement
Under the Dutch Medical Treatment Agreement Act (WGBO), it is mandatory to establish clear agreements regarding treatment. That’s why we draw up a treatment agreement at the start of the process. This includes:

• The method of reporting and informing referrers.

• Agreements regarding reimbursement and cancellations.

By signing this agreement, you give consent to start the treatment and to process your data within the framework of the WGBO and GDPR.
