Online Speech Therapy and OMFT
General terms and conditions
On this page, you’ll find the general terms and conditions of our online speech therapy practice. We clearly explain what you can expect from us and which agreements apply to our services. This includes information about registration, cancellation, privacy, and responsibilities. We believe clarity is essential, so you can access our care with confidence
Registration
You can register yourself or your child for speech therapy via the registration form on our website. After receiving your registration, we will contact you to schedule an intake appointment. During the intake, we will discuss your concerns and determine which assessments are needed to create a suitable treatment plan. For the intake, we kindly ask you to bring a valid ID for your child. If applicable, a referral from your GP or specialist may also be required. Together, we will then decide when and how the treatment will take place. Please note that you may be placed on a waiting list.

Cancelling an Appointment
Unable to attend your appointment? Please notify us at least 24 hours in advance. If you cancel too late or do not show up, we are obliged to charge the costs. These costs are not reimbursed by your health insurance and must be paid within 14 days.

Complaints Procedure
Do you have a complaint about the treatment or your speech therapist? Please discuss it directly with your therapist first. If you’re unable to resolve the issue together, contact us via the contact form on our website. You may also submit your complaint in writing using the designated form.

Privacy and Data Protection
We place great importance on protecting your personal data. All information we process is handled carefully and confidentially in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). For more details, please refer to our privacy statement on the website.

Identification Requirement in Healthcare
When receiving medical care, you are legally required to present a valid ID. This allows us to verify that your personal data is accurate and belongs to the correct individual. This requirement is mandated by law and applies to everyone, including children under 14. The government uses this measure to prevent healthcare fraud. We kindly ask you to bring a valid ID to your first appointment.

Phone and Email Contact
For questions, you can reach us during office hours by phone or email. We aim to respond as quickly as possible, but may not always be able to reply immediately. Please keep this in mind when planning your inquiries or requests.

Online Speech Therapy
For optimal treatment, it is important that you have a stable internet connection, clear audio, and a quiet environment where you can participate without interruptions.

Force Majeure
In case of unforeseen circumstances, such as therapist illness or technical issues, we reserve the right to reschedule or cancel appointments. We will inform you as soon as possible and work together to find a suitable solution.
